What is the ETU Open Call about?
With ETU Open Call 1, we aim to expand our portfolio of proven solutions supporting the green transition in Mediterranean territories, complementing the solutions already offered by our community.
Selected tools and initiatives will:
- Gain visibility on the ETU platform, reaching public authorities, practitioners, and innovators across the Mediterranean
- Access opportunities for replication and scaling, multiplying your impact
- Be featured in ETU events, guidelines, and policy documents
- Connect with a vibrant network of +25 projects and +240 partners
What kinds of solutions are we looking for?
Your solution should relate to one (or more) of our 5 themes:
- Green Resilient Planning
- Green Community Engagement
- Green Mobility
- Green Energy Systems
- Financing the green transition
And support local authorities in the development, implementation or monitoring of:
- Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMP)
- Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans (SECAP)
- Urban Nature Plans

With ETU Open Call 1, we are expanding the ETU Matrix – our collection of proven solutions supporting the green transition in Mediterranean territories. Selected tools and initiatives will:
Gain visibility on the ETU online platform, reaching public authorities, practitioners, and innovators across the Mediterranean.
- Gain opportunities to be replicated and scaled, so that more territories and communities can benefit — multiplying your impact.
- Be featured in events, guidelines, and policy papers, giving your work greater recognition.
- Connect with a vibrant network of +25 projects and stakeholders, opening the door to promising collaboration.
