Mediterranean solutions for greener living.

The ETU Initiative for Green Living Areas
The ETU Initiative is a local planning support framework that helps Mediterranean authorities design and implement greener, more resilient territories. It provides a structured set of solutions, tools, and practices (the ETU Matrix and Toolbox) to guide local planning processes in areas such as energy, mobility, urban planning, community engagement, and finance.
Our approach
Community4LivingAreas: Connecting Knowledge, People and Solutions to drive the green transition
.01
COMMUNITY BUILDING
We empower the community of thematic projects within the Interreg Euro-MED Green Living Areas Mission to drive an ecosystemic green transition across the Mediterranean.
.02
TRANSFER OF RESULTS
We connect knowledge, tools, and solutions from thematic projects with local stakeholders through our Territorial Antennas, making resources accessible and ready to use.
.03
IMPLEMENTATION
We support users in applying the solutions gathered in the ETU Toolbox, a practical framework for integrating green approaches into local territorial planning and governance.

Want to know more about the solutions?
Our solutions support local authorities in tackling the many aspects of the green transition
Get in Touch with one of our Territorial Antennas!
The Territorial Antennas are the national and territorial contact points of the ETU Initiative. They serve as the key link between the Green Living Areas Mission community and local stakeholders across the Mediterranean.
Each Territorial Antenna connects project results, tools, and knowledge from the community’s thematic projects with stakeholders interested in applying or learning from them in their own territories. Operating in national or local languages, the Antennas provide a direct contact point for municipalities, regional authorities, and other actors.
Through the Territorial Antennas, participants can access training, receive guidance from experts, explore collaboration opportunities, and stay informed about upcoming activities and calls — while strengthening their national and regional networks.
